A small but energetic group participated in the Pa. Holstein Association’s junior judging school, hosted July 9-10, in Beaver-Lawrence counties. The junior judges placed 12 classes and worked on reasons and public speaking during their 24 hours together.

Members of the Stockmen’s Market Livestock 4-H Club in Mahoning County recently completed a community service project at Bricker Homestead Park in Goshen Township, including purchasing white amur fish to release to help clean the lake in a chemical-free way.
Kyleigh, a future grazier, is only a little taller than the grazing stick distributed at a recent eastern Ohio grazing school. The stick is used to measure available forage, but Kyleigh may find other uses for it.
