STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — The Country Classics 4-H club met July 16 at the Steubenville Saddle Club with 29 members present.

Mara Carducci was in charge of the meeting. Plans for the Jefferson County Fair were discussed. Six members gave demonstrations.

The next meeting is at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds at 7 p.m. Aug. 6.

CARROLLTON, Ohio — The Carroll County Beef Club met June 29 at the home of Johnna Mangun. Members discussed barns and mulch for the fair, the booth, and elected committees for barn and booth duty.

ALLIANCE, Ohio— On June 28 the Marlington FFA chapter held its benefit square dance for Akron Children’s Hospital.

Many area businesses and individuals donated goods or services, including caller Dave Ball.

The chapter earned $404.60, which will all go to Akron Children’s Hospital.
