CRESTON, Ohio — Members from Norwayne High School FFA earned several awards at the Ohio State Fair at the Expositions Center in Columbus.

Thirty-five members displayed 68 projects constructed in the Ag Shop during the 2008-09 school year.

WELLINGTON, Ohio — The Penfield Partners 4-H club met Aug. 19. A motion was passed to pay for fire retardant to be used to spray the home economics booth at the fair.

OBERLIN, Ohio — The Firelands FFA will host chapter alumni and friends for an open house Sept. 16 from 5 to 8 p.m.

The event will be held in the agricultural science class and lab. Former members are asked to bring their FFA jackets. The oldest jacket will win a prize.
