Sgt. Jon Alvarez, serving with the U. S. Army in Baghdad, received issues of the Farm and Dairy from his sister, Sheri Dickerhoof of Alliance, Ohio. Sgt. Alvarez is originally from Canton, Ohio, and owns a 60-acre hobby farm in Hannibal, N.Y.
In October, Farm and Dairy traveled to Puerto Rico with (left to right) A.J., Abby, Anna and Andrew Perkins for a Bible conference. While we were there, we took the opportunity to hike in the El Yunque Rain Forest. The peak of El Yunque is pictured in the background.
