Hazard A Guess: Week of Dec. 24, 2009

by Farm and Dairy Staff

Merry Christmas from all of us in Hazard-land!

Ed Geiwitz, of West Middlesex, Pa., confirms that Item No. 877 is a saw set for a two-man cross-cut saw, or for a circle 32-inch blade.

That’s what James Cogar, of Canton, Ohio, said, too, as our lone respondent on Item No. 877, and it’s also what Wayne Franks of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., suspected when he sent in the photo.

Our thanks to Cogar and Geiwitz for the confirmation!

Mr. Geiwitz also hazard-ed a guess on Item No. 878, which is on its third week with nary a guess. He thinks it might be a Christmas card holder. What do you say?

One more week and we’ll move on. Out with the old, and in with the new for the New Year, you know.
