Hello from Hazard!

Item No. 854 is no mystery, as James Miller of Louisville, Ohio, declared last week. It is a sausage stuffer.

Frank Muellner of Mayfield Heights, Ohio, also knew what it was and explains: “The sausage casing is placed around the narrow end and the ground meat is forced through the metal tube using the wooden handle tool.”

Our thanks also to Barbara Kovach of Coshocton, Ohio, and Albert Bodnar of Mantua, Ohio, who also sent in their responses.

A reader from Cadiz, Ohio, sent in three photos showing different angles of the same gizmo. “Can’t find out anything on this item, can you?” Well, Hazard readers, can you? It looks rather interesting.
