Hello from Hazard!

Aha! We’ve made your brain cells churn this winter, just when you were getting settled for a long winter’s nap. No such luck. We’ve stumped you all with Item No. 639, and we’ll give you just one more week before we unveil it.

I guess we’ll have to give you a hint or two. It was made in Detroit and has something to do with vehicles, typically automobiles – and it was guaranteed 99-2/3 percent accurate! It’s a very interesting gadget; you won’t want to miss next week’s Hazard!

Tell us what you think it is: Hazard a Guess, P.O. Box 38, Salem, OH 44460; or via e-mail to: editorial@farmanddairy.com.

If you have a unique item on your shelves that you think might interest readers, send us a clear, 35mm photograph of the item, along with a detailed description as to size, dimensions and actual use. We’d love to hear from you.

Until next week …
