Hello from Hazard!
Well, the plot thickens this week. We have still not received any guesses as to the use of Item No. 624. But it’s so intriguing, that I’ll tell you what’s stamped on the metal canister and leave this item here for one more week, in the hopes that someone will be able to clarify what it was used for.
The words stamped into the metal canister on the end are: “Automatic fireless torpedo, Klotz Mfg. Co., Chicago, Ill., patent 1911.” It has a wooden handle and is about 30 inches long overall. Anyone know what an automatic fireless torpedo is?
