Hazard A Guess: Week of March 25, 2004.

Hello from Hazard!

The mailbag is empty once again.

I received a lone reply to Item no. 704, the nutcracker that we unveiled last week.

Wilma King of Washington, Pa., knew right away what it was because she spent “many hours cracking black walnuts” with it.

But we received no guesses on Item No. 705, so we’ll have to show it again this week.

How do you think this strange-looking thing was used?

Until next week, think spring.
