Summer 2005: Once in a lifetime

After Flag Day and Father’s Day, we’re headed fast toward the heart of summer. How do we fit all those special times that can best be enjoyed on a summer day into the limited weekends on our calender?
Inevitably, events coincide and choices must be made. I’m often confused by this world around me, which seems to have too many choices. I can blame it on technology, media, transportation; no matter which I focus on first, it’s all there, within my reach, every day.
By the time our family reunion is scheduled, the church picnic penciled in, and, maybe an impromptu get-together or outing of some kind, my calendar is full
