Alpaca Fiber to Fashion

This event was such a hit last year that we are hosting it again this spring. It’s an educational event where raw alpaca fiber is transformed into a finished clothing accessory while visitors standby and watch.

A couple select alpacas will be shorn, and then the fiber will be handed off to a spinner to be made into yarn. After the yarn is spun, a knitter will create a wonderful handmade hat or scarf. We will also feature our FeltLOOM to create a few felted items with the shorn fleeces. All Things Alpaca, LLC will also have a display area where additional alpaca fashions will be available for purchase.
