SALEM PUBLIC LIBRARY TO HOST BEEKEEPING PROGRAM
If you like to eat then you should like the bee! Learn how bees build their hive, pollinate our food, and how we can help sustain honeybees during the program “Honeybee Keeping in the Fall” to be presented by Sister Jeanne Thurin, a Sister of the Humility of Mary and Environmental Education Associate at Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center.

Attendees will gather in the library’s Quaker Room on September 23, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. Registration for this program, which is open to the public and free of cost, is required through the library website at www.salem.lib.oh.us. For additional information or for registration assistance please contact the library at 330-332-0042.

Sister Thurin is an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist, a Bee Keeper, and an Ohio Certified Environmental Educator. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from St. John College of Cleveland.
