The Spicy Lamb Farm is honored to host the fifth annual Cuyahoga Valley Sheep Dog Trials. These sanctioned Open, Ranch, & Pro-Novice trials of the United States Border Collie Handler’s Association (USBCHA) is a competition in which herding dogs move sheep around a field, fences, gates, or enclosures as directed by their handlers.

The trials begin each day at 9 a.m. with Open (advanced dogs and handlers) competing first. The Ranch and Pro-Novice classes follow until all entries run.

Order a paid lunch in advance or pack your own. Handlers and judges will break for a lunch. Bring a folding chair and dress for the weather. This event is rain or shine. Tickets can be ordered in advance for one or both days. $10 for adults and $5 for children. Lunches can be ordered to each or both days: Saturday Lunch, Sunday Lunch, or Lunch Both Days.

Throughout the year we offer opportunities to learn and watch sheep herding: Training, Assessments, Demonstrations and Clinics.
