Come and enjoy a day at Waterworth Memorial Park when “Art in the Park” takes place at Orashan Civic Center Band Shell on June 3, 2017, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Take in the sights and sounds of the performances and displays at this family–friendly event and get into the creative process yourself with some of the hands-on activities. There will be a variety of on-stage performances by musicians, dancers and museum representatives. Displays by a variety of artisans will feature wool spinning, graphic art, wood carving, kites, and more! For those attending, there will be make-it and take-it projects, a graffiti wall to paint, and a coloring table for all ages. “Art in the Park” is open to the public and there is no cost to attend.
This is a special event in the “Go Wild in the Park” program series which provides to the Salem community educational and entertaining programs through the partnership of Salem Parks and Recreation and Salem Public Library.
No registration is required. Bring your friends, family and neighbors to the park and have a pleasant time exploring the arts. In the event of rain activities will be held in the Salem Memorial Building at 785 E.
