Salem Optometrist Dr. Rebecca Williamson Brown will present the program “Vision Health for Ages 60+” at the June 8, 2016 Wellness Wednesday program at Salem Public Library. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s Quaker Room located at 821 E. State St., Salem, Ohio and is open to the public and is free of cost to attend. Registration is required online at www.salem.lib.oh.us or by calling the library at 330-332-0042.

Dr. Brown graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 2003. She completed her residency at Louis Stokes Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cleveland earning her Certificate of Residency in Ocular Disease/Hospital Based Optometry. While at the VA Medical Center, she worked primarily with a geriatric population focusing on ocular disease and low vision rehabilitation. She currently practices at Essential Vision Care in Salem. Dr. Brown is the President-Elect, of the Ohio Optometric Association.

Wellness Wednesday is an ongoing health and wellness series with a new topic presented on the second Wednesday of each month.
