“Prescription for Dehydration: Take with a Full Glass of Water” is the Wellness Wednesday topic to be presented on July 13, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s Quaker Room located at 821 E. State St., Salem, Ohio. Did you know the majority of your body is made up of water and every single cell needs it to function properly? Dehydration can be more than uncomfortable, it can be dangerous! Although anyone can become dehydrated, babies and older adults are the most vulnerable. Join our speaker, Kevin Fuschetto, to learn about the importance of water, the common causes and signs of dehydration, and tips to stay hydrated.

Registration is required to attend and may be done online at www.salem.lib.oh.us or by calling the library for assistance at 330-332-0042. This program is open to the public and free of cost to attend.

Kevin Fuschetto, PharmD, BCACP is a clinical pharmacist for Giant Eagle Pharmacy in the Youngstown, Ohio area. There he works to increase and promote all clinical services, such as immunizations and diabetes education. Kevin is a 2007 graduate of Ohio Northern University and the 2011 recipient of OPA’s Upsher-Smith Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award.

Wellness Wednesday programs, which cover a variety of health and wellness related topics, are held on the second Wednesday of each month. Don’t miss these valuable opportunities to become more knowledgeable about health and wellness topics.
