The Western Reserve Knitting Guild will hold a members and guest cookie exchange at the Austintown Library Community Room on Sunday, Dec. 6th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Members and guests are asked to bring four dozen or more cookies to exchange. You will leave the event with the same amount of cookies you bring, but in a different variety. A program on knitting around a glass ornament by B’ewe’tiful Knits from Clarion, Pa will be presented. Please bring sock/fingering weight yarn, size 2 double-pointed needles, beading needles and 6 mm beads. The glass ornament ball will be provided. You do not have to participate in both events. Please register for this event at the Guild’s email address no later than Wednesday, Dec. 2. Non-members and guests are welcome to join us, but there will be a $10 fee for the ornament program and you are to also bring your own supplies as listed. The library is not sponsoring or participating in this event.
