Once there was a robot farm. One of the workers on the farm was a robot named Rusty. Rusty had the job of herding the cattle through the pasture.

It was an unusual rainy Christmas Eve day. The rain poured down so much it rusted Rusty. He could not move and the steers looked curiously at the weird sight.

Rusty was in the field all day and then it was night. Santa Claus came flying by as always, but this time he saw Rusty stuck in the field. So he stopped his sleigh in the pasture by Rusty.

Santa sent out one of his elves with an oil can. He put oil in his mouth, his arms and his legs. And soon Rusty began to move and then talk.

“Thank you, Santa” Rusty said.

He finished herding up the cattle safely into the barn and everyone had a very nice Christmas. Dinner was honey baked oil with coffee. The cows were treated to an apple-flavored salt lick as well.

I enjoyed the mix of the traditional (Santa Claus and reindeer) with the modern (robots). Nice job, David!
