Equipment sales might be on the minds of many at the Farm Science Review but one issue that continues to get a lot of attention is water quality. Student debt and college leadership were hot topics at the Farm Science Review luncheon Tuesday. Bruce McPheron, vice president for agricultural administration and dean of the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, announced an additional $1 million financial commitment to the college’s undergraduates for the 2016-17 school year.

The Farm Science Review is a place where many farmers go to look at the newest equipment and find out what is happening in the ag economy. However, farmers know that this year may be a trying year for the bottom line and that may mean no big purchases.
