Antiques show moves to Akron

AKRON – The Pappabello Summer Antiques Show and Sale, previously held at the I-X Center in Cleveland, will come to John S. Knight Center, 77 E. Mill St., Akron July 13-15.

Show hours are noon-8 p.m. (Friday), 11 a.m.-6 p.m. (Saturday) and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. (Sunday).

Plenty to buy.

More than 140 dealers from 15 states, Canada and Europe will feature a variety of antiques. The variety is excellent, including furniture, both formal and country; art glass, silver, Asian, porcelain, posters, ceramics, watches, bronzes, paintings, prints, linens, Doultons, Tiffany and jewelry.

Prices range from a few dollars to thousands making this a show of interest to both the casual home decorator looking for “something unusual” as well as the serious collector seeking top quality items.

Admission charge.

Admission is $6, good for repeated entry all three days of the show. Children 14 and under are admitted free with accompanying adult. Public parking is available adjacent to the center.
