Auction Roundup – John Deere 6400 brings $23,000 at Kaufman auction

Dave Kaufman Realty Inc. of Sugarcreek, Ohio, held an auction Feb. 7 in Nashville, Ohio, by the order of Albert and Jo Ann Strother. The sale was called by auctioneer Curt Yoder.

The highest selling item was a John Deere 6400 diesel tractor for $23,000.

Other top-selling farm equipment included a John Deere 4420 diesel combine went for $7,500; a Vermeer 5400 Rebel round baler brought $10,500; a 1953 Ford Jubilee sold for $3,800; a John Deere 7000 4-row corn planter brought $3,300 and a round bale wagon sold for $3,000.

Four cows, one bull and five feeder calves brought a combined total of $8,600.

Top-selling cattle equipment included a Powder River cattle chute for $3,000 and a Bison livestock trailer brought $2,900.
