HOMEWORTH, Ohio — Bert Campbell, 82, of Homeworth, passed away Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013. He was born Dec. 23, 1930, in Germano to Jesse James and Mary Neva (Smith) Campbell.He was the owner and operator of Campbell Brothers Farms. He graduated form Minerva High School in 1948, was a member of the Stark County Farm Bureau and had attended the Canton Baptist Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Lona Jane (Groves) Campbell, with whom he would have celebrated 50 years on marriage on Sept. 14; three sons, Randy Campbell of Homeworth, Rodney Campbell of Minerva, and Rick Campbell of Homeworth; brother, Dale Campbell of Alliance; seven grandchildren; and many neices and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers. Funeral services were held Sept. 12 with the Rev. Delaney Young officiating.
Entombment was in Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. Memorials may be made to Copeland Oaks or the Alzheimer’s Association.
