A photographer has found one particular subject to focus on for a collection of his pieces: rice.

According to The Buffalo News, Scott Gable’s exhibit “Rice” features photographs, portraits and even a video that highlights the stages of rice, beginning with planting all the way to distribution. His material comes from time spent visiting a number of countries in Asia.

Gable’s artwork shows emotion and stimulates thinking about rice farmers and the process by which rice is farmed. The exhibit is located on the first two floors of the CEPA Gallery in Buffalo.
