Burton plans tree tapping event, pancake breakfast

BURTON, Ohio — The Burton Chamber Of Commerce will hold the fourth Tree Tapping Ceremony Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This family-friendly event is a hands on experience.
There will be candy-making demonstrations and, if the sap begins to run, the first turn of season syrup may be made.
Pancakes. Burton Village will hold a pancake breakfast March 4, 11, 18 and 25, using Geauga County maple syrup.
