Choir comes to library to sing medieval and renaissance seasonal songs

WARREN, Ohio – The madrigal group Tapestries will entertain during a program Nov. 19, 6:30 p.m., at the Howland Branch of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library.

The branch is located at 9095 E. Market St., Warren, Ohio.

The music will be sung a cappella (without instruments) by the 14-voice choir, whose members come from the tri-county area.

The group sings medieval and renaissance songs from the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries and performs in authentic costume. Their repertoire for the Howland concert will focus on holiday and seasonal songs.

The program is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.
