Coyote control meeting set for May 22 in Canfield

LISBON, Ohio – Beef, dairy, sheep and swine producers, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone interested in coyotes and their habits are invited to participate in a meeting at Mahoning County Farm, May 22 at 7:30 p.m.

The meeting will be held at McMahon Hall, Route 46, across from the Canfield Fairgrounds.

Eric Householder, biological technician, and Charles Lovell, wildlife biologist with the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, will present an interesting and informative program.

Admission is free and refreshments will be served.

The program for the evening will cover:

* Ohio Cooperative Livestock Protection Program

* Kill Identification (Was it a coyote or not?)

* Measures for protecting your livestock

* Questions and answers
