YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Mahoning Valley Historical Society will host its 127th annual meeting and dinner June 18 to show artifacts from the society’s permanent collection and business and media archives.
Premiering at this exhibit will be a restored portrait painting, dating from 1821, of Dr. Henry Manning, one of Youngstown’s earliest physicians, donated by his great-granddaughter, Helen Manning Schumann Lupse.
A business meeting will follow a garden party and dinner on the grounds of the Arms Family Museum of Local History.
