ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Exhibitors from the eastern United States met in Lewisburg, W.Va., for the 2003 Eastern Regional Junior Angus Show.

The West Virginia Junior Angus Association hosted Mountain Moo June 21-22.

Danielle Foster of Niles, Mich., led the grand champion owned female, Shadoe 2019 of Foxcross. The February 2002 daughter of S A V Limited Edition 9283 first won early junior champion.

Brittany Full of Mount Airy, Md., showed the reserve grand champion owned female and reserve early junior champion. P V F Proven Queen 212 is a January 2002 daughter of P V F New Horizon 001.

Thornbrook Blossom 5072, owned by Mark Butler Jr., Emmitsburg, Md., captured grand champion bred-and-owned female. The May 2002 daughter of Leachman Saugahatchee 3000C first topped the intermediate division.

Ohio winner. Andrew Miller of Luckey, Ohio, led Milmere Bell 302 to reserve grand champion bred-and-owned female. The February 2002 daughter of Woodhill Supreme first won junior champion.

In the bred-and-owned bull show, Justin Brosey of Hamilton, Ohio, showed the grand champion entry. A-6E Intruder of Booth Hill is a September 2002 son of Broken Arrow Rusty 627D.

Cortney Hill-Dukehart of Sykesville, Md., led the reserve grand champion bred-and-owned bull. SSF Rito Discovery 2132 is a February 2002 son of Rito 9FB3 of 5Hll Fullback.

Sarah Wogan of Hebron, Ohio, showed the grand champion cow-calf pair. Weisel Jestress 1130 is a March 2001 daughter of Whitestone Widespread MH. A February 2003 heifer sired by War Hall of Fame 8023 completes the winning pair.

PVF Proven Queen 1144 was named reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. Travis Jones of Harrod, Ohio, owns the May 2001 daughter of Leachman Explorer. A March 2003 daughter of Bon View New Design 878 is at side.

Eagle Pass Improv 2233 claimed the grand champion steer title for James Full of Mount Airy, Md. The February 2002 son of Northern Improvement 4480 GF weighed in at 1,227 pounds.

Katie Nolt of New Holland, Pa, led the reserve grand champion steer. Triple N Toby is a March 2002 son of Northern Improvement 4480 GF and weighed 1,287 pounds on show day.
