Attention shutterbugs! Have you ever wanted to shoot a cover photo? Well, Farm and Dairy is offering you that chance. We are conducting a photo contest and the winning photo will appear on the cover of the 2010 Agri-Book.
Photos must have a farm/agricultural connection and can encompass anything in the rural community from rolling hills of farmland to livestock to tractors to people. You never know when and where your next great shot will appear, so it might be a good idea to keep your camera handy so you won’t miss it!
The contest is open to amateur photographers and each applicant may submit no more than three entries. Photos must be in color and need to be 5 x 7 or 8 x 10 in size. For the full list of rules, entry form and consent/release form, see the links below. An entry form must accompany each entry.
Entries may be dropped off or mailed to Farm and Dairy, P.O. Box 38, 185 E. State St., Salem, OH 44460, Attn: Photo Contest. Or, e-mail a high-res version to aslanker@farmanddairy.com. Submitted photos become property of Farm and Dairy and will not be returned, unless a self-addressed, stamped envelope is included.
The deadline for entries is Nov. 2, so get your cameras out and start shooting!
