CLARION, Pa. – The Penn State Cooperative Extension in Clarion County will hold an educational meeting on buying groups Nov. 22 at the Clarion County Park will begin at noon.
George Wilcox, Erie County Extension educator, along with members of the Erie County Dairy Producers Group, will discuss the buying group that they formed in Erie County several years ago.
They will explain how the group got started and where it has gone since then. The successes and failures of the group will be discussed to the audience in attendance.
The Erie County group has been featured in several articles in nationally known dairy publications.
