FARM SCIENCE REVIEW: Conservation Farm Families recognized

LONDON, Ohio – Wayne County farmer Scott Stoller and Washington County farmers Marilyn and James Mills were among the five farming families to received 2001 Ohio Conservation Farm Family Awards, presented at the Farm Science Review.

Other winners were Carl and Beverly Ayers, Fulton County; Keith and Betsy Kemp, Preble County; and Paul Ryan, Highland County.The award, also sponsored by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, the Ohio Farmer magazine, and the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, recognizes farmers who practice natural resource conservation through farming practices.
