CARROLLTON, Ohio — The New Horizons 4-H club met Aug. 15 with five members present.
The following club members gave health and safety demonstrations: Bryden Adams, food pyramid for youth; Andrew Adams, tips for family health care and square knots; Maggie Michel, digital cameras; and Kim Locker, leading and animal.
A committee was assigned to audit the treasurer’s book.
CARROLLTON, Ohio — The Friendly Circle Pig Roast is set for Sept. 13 at the Brown Frame. The event will raise money for the Brown Frame Community Building Fund.
The Brown Frame Round-up 4-H club will donate drinks and rolls for the pig roast.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Carryout is available.

The 4-H club’s next meeting will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Brown Frame Building.

Demonstrations were given by: Becky Lutz, dog training; Emory Bandurka, tomato cutting safety; and Lauren Hawkins, sheep safety.
