BURTON, Ohio — Members of the Flockmasters 4-H Club met July 26 at the Somrack home.

John Strzalka gave a presentation on gun safety.

Members taking market projects to fair were reminded write buyers’ letters.

Club set up at the fair will be Aug. 28, and members will be working the Jr. Leaders Milkshake Booth from 11 to 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Saturday afternoon is the livestock auction. Small animals are sold starting at 4 o’clock in the tent. Large animals start at 6 p.m. in the arena.

On Monday the 5th, we will be in the Jr. Fair Building for Fair Fest, making paper bag scrapbooks.

NORTH LIMA, Ohio — The Pinelakers 4-H club held its July meeting as a family picnic at Mount Olivet church in North Lima.

Members picked up pre-ordered pepperoni rolls for distribution. The money raised from the yard sale and pepperoni roll sale will help with camping cost of the club’s weekend qetaway at Camp Frederick in Rogers Aug. 12-14.

Final plans are under way for this year’s Canfield Fair patriotic fair booth theme: Support the Troops.
