BAINBRIDGE, Ohio — The Riders Express 4-H club celebrated its annual holiday party Jan 11. President Cassie Holub led a brief meeting, followed by a gift exchange. 2012 officers were elected as follows: Sarah Chapman, vice president; Alexa Manolio, secretary; Gina Moschella, treasurer; Kali Graft and Sydney Koenig, co-historians; Isabel Pignolet, recreation officer; Natalie Cserhati, health and safety officer; and Rachel Belliveau, news reporter.

Club members volunteered Feb. 14 at the Weils Assisted Living Facility’s Valentine’s Day Party. The next Riders Express meeting is Mar 14 in Bainbridge Township. MIDDLEFIELD, Ohio — The Totally Dogs 4-H club had their first meeting of the year Feb. 7. Last year several club members travel to the Oho State Fair to compete in the agility event and obedience and showmanship classes. The club received enrollment forms for this year and discussed the plans for its annual 4-H Totally Dogs Dinner/Silent Auction for the Geauga County Dog Shelter and Geauga County K9 Unit. The dinner is scheduled for April 20 from 6-9 p.m.
