ALLIANCE, Ohio — Creative Clovers 4-H club met Feb. 16. The club went over its Thanksgiving collection for the Haven of Rest in Akron, Ohio and the tour of the Haven of Rest. Members are to think of a community service project, a fundraiser, and a field trip.
The new officers are: Reagan Kornbau, president; Taylor Burns, vice president; Haley Thompson, secretary; Bell Norris, treasurer; Christopher Greenfield, news reporter; Carrie Burns, health reporter; Cole Norris, safety reporter; Matthew Sinley, energy reporter; and recreation leaders are Makenzie Kornbau and Gabby Hill.

BOWERSTON, Ohio — The Silver Spurs 4-H club met Feb. 17 at the Bowerstown Public Library.
The club elected officers for the 2013 year as follows: Joseph Shuss, president; Cole Ferguson, vice president; Emily Shuss, secretary; Nohl Kellar, treasurer; Chelsie Brown, health/safety officer; Seth Ferguson, health/safety officer: Gabbie Kellar and Jack Shuss, news reporters.
Members discussed fundraising opportunities for club T-shirts. Upcoming events include a window decorating contest to celebrate National 4-H week March 3 at the village’s library and the club’s monthly meeting March 24 at 6 p.m. If you have any questions, or would like to join the Silver Spurs Club, contact Natalie Shuss at 740-922-4725.

CORTLAND, Ohio — The Trumbull County Dairy Judging Team met Feb. 17 at the extension office in Cortland. The club elected the following new officers: Daniel Montgomery, president; Zane Lehmann, vice president; Lauren Almashy, secretary; Khilan Cottrell, treasurer; and Emily Hahn, news reporter. The club discussed Junior Fair barn decorations, important dates and fundraising ideas. The next meeting will be March 24 at 2 p.m. at the extension office.

ASHLAND, Ohio — The Crestview FFA chapter hosted several activities during National FFA Week, Feb. 16-23. FFA members were encouraged to wear their FFA T-shirts, flannel shirts and boots Tuesday, the chapter hosted their teacher and staff breakfast Wednesday. The chapter hosted its annual community luncheon Thursday. Friday was supposed to be Greenhand day, but due to school being cancelled, freshmen had their hands painted green Feb. 25.

CHARDON, Ohio — Geauga Dairymen 4-H club held a meeting Feb. 17 where two new members were welcomed and officers were elected.
Officers include: Dominic Ferrante, president; Garrett Hastings, vice president; Maddy Johnson, secretary; and Travis Johnson, treasurer.
The club will promote 4-H through a window display at First American Title in Chardon, Ohio. The display will be up from March 3-9. The club will also sell candy bars.
The club discussed changes to the club constitution and by-laws.
Hoards Dairymen annual judging contest was distributed. Members are to bring their animal placements to the next meeting. The next meeting will take place March 10 at 1 p.m. at a member’s house. Anyone interested in joining Geauga Dairymen should contact Emma Niehus at 440-221-3812. The enrollment deadline is April 15.
