CANFIELD, Ohio — The Mahoning County Goat Herders met Jan. 14.
New officers elected are Krista Burcaw, president; Emma Hough, secretary; Jessie Slocum, treasurer; Grace McDaniel, news reporter; Jessica Slocum, devotion leader; Mikala Wyss, demonstration leader; McKayla Boyd, refreshment leader. Melissa Moliterno is the new adviser.
Upcoming events include Quality Assurance March 2 at South Range High School.
The next meeting is planned for Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. at the O’Brock’s.

DAMASCUS, Ohio — The Circle 62 4-H club met Jan. 12 at the Pearce House in Damascus, Ohio. The election of officers was held and the new presiding officers will be president, James Kataro; vice president, Sara Fraser; secretary, Sami Stryffeler; health officer, Allison Slutz; safety officer, Macie Schrecengost; news reporter, Joseph Kataro.
Officers were encouraged to attend the 4-H officer training Jan. 22 at the government building in Lisbon.
Macie Schrecengost received an award for selling the most wreaths for the club’s wreath fundraiser. The next meeting will be Feb. 9 at the Pearce House.

HANOVERTON, Ohio  — The Just Rite 4-H club met Jan. 15, at the Butler Grange.
The newly elected officers are: president, Kadie Burger; vice president, Ben Dickerhoof; secretary, Austin Lowmiller; treasurer, Taylor Hippely; and news reporter, Lauren Hippely. A total of 17 members attended the meeting.
The club is sponsoring the 2013 Junior Dairy Showmanship trophy.
Members also planned a bowling and pizza party Feb. 10.

HANOVERTON, Ohio — On January 13, The Kids-N-Kritters 4-H group held its first meeting of the New Year.
New officers include: president, Mackenzie Kiko; vice president, Vincent Zehentbauer; secretary, Elaina Zehentbauer; treasurer, Brooklynn Soliday; recreation leader, Bridget Soliday; historian, Zebadiah Zehentbauer; and newspaper reporter, Brooklynn Soliday.
The group will be holding its annual pepperoni roll sale, open to the public. If you would like to order pepperoni rolls they are approximately a foot long. They will be sold for $4 each. To place an order contacts adviser Louann Zehentbauer at 330-223-2069. We will have a pick up at United FFA at 5:30 p.m. March 15.

The next meeting is at 1 p.m. Feb. 17 at Neil and Lou Ann Zehentbauer’s.
