ROGERS, Ohio — The Country Friends 4-H club met July 6 at the Rogers Sale Restaurant to have their project books graded.

In other business, the raffle tickets to be sold for the fair were to be returned at the meeting. Group participation for Relay for Life was canceled due to the skillathon and a shortage of time to prepare for it.

Members were reminded to check their 4-H premium books and attend all the required clinics, book grading, etc. necessary for your participation in the fair.

Members must pick up their wristbands and show numbers at the office in the coliseum Aug. 3.

ORWELL, Ohio — The Mustang Wranglers 4-H horse club met July 11 at the Ohio State University Extension Office in Jefferson.

Club members are exercising and preparing horses for the Ashtabula County Fair and finishing up project books.

Stephanie Mason, club president, represented Ashtabula County at state 4-H Leadership Camp July 13-17.

Carolyn Morrow, with her horse Cajun Crowbar, qualified in barrels and poles for state fair at tryouts held at the fairgrounds.

The next meeting will be July 23, beginning 6:30 p.m. at Saddles Etc. in Orwell.
