NORTH JACKSON, Ohio — The Jackson Milton Livestock Club held a meeting Sept. 24.
The members of the club discussed future fundraisers such as a Cici’s pizza fundraiser and another cheese basket sale. More information on our fundraisers will be put in a later article.
The club had a Halloween party at the Timashamie Campgrounds Oct. 24.
The club’s Cloverbuds took first place for their flower at the Jackson Township Building.
AURORA, Ohio — Creatures-N-Features 4-H club received many ribbons last year from all the work by its officers and the club members.
The club got blue ribbon recognition for the following: Whitney Makekau, 2008 secretary book; Ben Dunkin, 2008 treasurers book and Breez Sogor, 2008 scrapbook.
Livia Ward received recognition from the Small Animal Committee with her 2008 rabbit project.
The club itself received recognition as a 2008 Club of Distinction in the county.
