A roundup of 4-H news for the week of Oct. 13, 2011:

WOOSTER, Ohio– Jonathan Coyle, Marie Coyle and Emma Mrzwyka, members of the Farm Friends 4-H club, went to the rabbit decathlon at the New York state fair Sept. 4. They were on an intermediate team with one other 4-H member, Elizabeth Frey.

The team scored 4th place in their division, and Jonathan won 4th place intermediate individual.

October 2-8 was National 4-H Week. The Farm Friends 4-H club celebrated with several events.

The Farm Friends and other clubs had a table at a 4-H open house at the Wayne County Cornell Cooperative Extension office. They made rabbit crafts using wooden spoons.

The chapter also wore 4-H logo shirts Oct. 6.

The chapter will have a petting zoo between 1-4 p.m. at the Walworth Harvest Festival at Ginegaw Park Oct. 22 with goats, rabbits and chickens.
