CONGRESS, Ohio — The Northwestern FFA chapter had a successful citrus fruit sale last fall, and spring’s sausage sale is looking good.

The whole hog sausage sale runs until Feb. 15. The chapter will be making the sausage Feb. 25, in cooperation with Heffelfinger Meats.

Sausage must be picked up at the high school’s loading dock from 3 to 5 p.m. Feb. 25.

Sausage is fresh and is sold in five-pound bulk bags.

Each bag is $15 and can be bought as nonspiced or as slightly spiced (salt and pepper).

DUBLIN, Ohio– FFA students from across Ohio attended the 2012 Leadership Conference in Columbus, including several from the Zane Trace FFA.

Sierra Burner, Luke Carlson, Samantha Cummins, Sidney Ford, Jennifer Frost, Logan Harvel, Mikayla Mick, Natalie Miller, Abbie Noble, Hannah Peterson, Sarah Peterson, Grant Ratliff, Evan Schaefer, and Daniella Straathof, members of the Miami Trace FFA Chapter attended the conference Jan. 21-22.

They attended sessions on discovering how habits effect growth, the difference between personal and professional relationships as well as identifying a personal mentor or coach.
