WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio — Beginning Oct. 1, the Miami Trace FFA will kick off Paint the Town Pink, a special event that will take place throughout Washington Court House.

During the campaign, companies in town can donate money to have their windows painted with the breast cancer ribbon. All proceeds from these donations will go to the Stephanie Spielman fund.

In order to help raise more money for the fund, officers will paint small pink ribbons on car windows, for a small donation, at the Miami Trace homecoming football game Oct. 1.

Painting the Town Pink will take place Oct. 5-6. A run/walk will be held for everybody in the community Oct. 8 to remember those in the community who had cancer or are currently battling it. T-shirts for the event will be sold at the high school and at Pettit’s stores.
