Fire muster will spotlight the old and the new

REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio – The Ohio Fire Expo & Muster and Flea Market will be staged June 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ohio Fire Academy, 8895 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

The Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office is holding the expo in conjunction with the Central Ohio Antique Fire Apparatus Association and the Central Ohio Fire Museum.

The event is open to the public and will feature displays, fire safety education shows and interactive activities for children, as well as demonstrations of specialized fire and rescue equipment.

The expo will also showcase fire-fighting equipment through the years as well as feature a flea market of fire collectibles. Nearly 100 pieces of fire apparatus were on display last year.

Admission is free.

To display. Those wishing to display apparatus should arrive between 8-11 a.m. and have proof of liability insurance and a modern working fire extinguisher. There will be a $5 charge per apparatus to defray the cost of muster judging.
