CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga Community College’s Eastern Campus and former Cleveland Cavaliers star center Jim Chones will team up this summer for a basketball camp.
Sessions. The camp will be offered in three sessions: June 23-27, July 21-25 and Aug. 4-8.
It is designed to give children 8-14 an opportunity to develop shooting and dribbling skills, as well as hear motivational tips from Chones and other coaches.
Each day of the five-day camp session will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Groups. Participants will be divided into groups based on skill, age and size. A typical day will include early morning shooting followed by stretching, dribbling and defensive skill drills.
There will also be games, foul shooting clinics, hot shots activities and coaching wrap-ups.
