You might find an unfamiliar, cannibalistic creature in your basement, according to The Huffington Post.

Invasive greenhouse camel crickets, native to Asia, have been spotted in numerous homes around the eastern United States. These crickets tend to eat anything and everything, including their own species. However, they aren’t a threat to humans.

From The Huffington Post:

“Researchers say they don’t yet know how these non-native crickets are impacting local ecosystems, but they stressed that homeowners shouldn’t take fright if they come across a greenhouse camel cricket in their home.”
