The Harrison County fair ended its yearly run with nice sunny weather and higher sale prices this year. The sale garnered $12,672.76 more than the 2008 Junior Fair livestock sale. One of the biggest price increases was found in the steer sale ring. The grand champion steer earned $5.50 per pound compared to last year which earned the grand champion producer $2.50 per pound.
