FREMONT, Ohio – A special holiday evening tour of the Hayes Presidential Center in Fremont will be offered Dec. 30 from 5:30-9 p.m.
The tour gives an opportunity to view the Hayes home during the evening. The minimal ornamentation reflects the way President Rutherford B. Hayes and his wife Lucy would have observed the holidays at this residence.
The neighboring Dillon House showcases Victorian-era Christmas gifts and decorations.
Visitors are invited to stop by the museum for holiday music and refreshments.
