Henryville ‘super cell’ tornado relief:

A series of tornados swept across Midwest states March 2, resulting in more than 30 fatalities in southern Indiana and northern Kentucky. The line of destruction runs from New Pekin, Indiana east across Interstate 65 to Henryville and then through the farm country and communities of Chelsea and Marysville. The storm then moved over the Ohio River into Trimble County, Kentucky.

Farmers who know how to run loaders and chain saws are needed, as well as funds to make the recovery possible. The Fellowship of Christian Farmers, International has its shower trailer at the Henryville Methodist Church to begin helping farm families in Clark County rebuild. The FCFI Motor Coach also is available for lodging for families and teams of farmers who can come help.

If you’d like to help, or donate feed or financial support, contact FCFI at 309-365-8710, or visit www.fcfi.org for more instructions. You can also send an email to fellowship@fcfi.org.
