BOULDER, Colo. – A wide range of unique seminars await the 1,500 people expected to attend the 10th annual Frontier Herb Fest – the nation’s largest annual herb conference.
Herbal experts and interested beginners from around the country will gather Aug. 17-19, at Herb Fest 2001, to explore topics ranging from aromatherapy and Bach Flower remedies to running an herbal business and backyard conservation.
Hosted by Frontier Natural Products Co-op at its 60-acre Organic Research Farm in Norway, Iowa, this event blends education and entertainment, giving beginner, intermediate and advanced participants the chance to explore all aspects of herbal usage with expert herbalists and speakers in an informal setting.

In addition to seminars that explore traditional herbology, Chinese herbal medicine and essential oils, Frontier’s Herb Fest 2001 will offer ‘lifestyle’ seminars including “Exploring the Night Sky,” “Keeping Pests and Insects at Arms Length,” and “The Herbal Home.”
There is also the chance to network with growers and learn about ethical harvesting practices and conserving “at risk” herbs.
Registration.
Cost is $179 per adult when preregistered by July 20 and $209 per person after July 21. Children 17 and under are admitted for $49. The one-day admission price is $119. Walk-in registration is available.
Admission cost covers the whole weekend, including all seminars, a comprehensive seminar book, a T-shirt, on-site camping and six vegetarian meals.
