Do your cows and horses stay up all night Christmas Eve taking care of the reindeer as Santa delivers presents around town?
Maybe not, but we’re sure you can come up with your own fictional holiday story. Write a winter tale centered around the holidays, send it in by Dec. 9, and your story may be printed!
Age groups are 6-9, 10-13, 14-17 and adults. Winners and runners-up will be notified by phone and their articles will appear in the Dec. 25 issue. Other holiday stories will be printed as space permits.
The Farm and Dairy staff will judge stories on creativity, originality and writing quality.

Don’t forget to include your name, age, phone number (not for publication), hometown and even a picture of yourself. Relatives of Farm and Dairy and Lyle Printing employees are not eligible.
