Inaugural ball to celebrate William McKinley’s success

CANTON, Ohio – The McKinley Museum anniversary inaugural Ball fund-raiser will be held March 3, at the new Kent State Stark Professional Education and Conference Center.



March 2001 marks the 100th anniversary of William McKinley’s second inaugural celebration. On the ticket with McKinley 100 years ago, was Theodore Roosevelt. The team of McKinley and Roosevelt triumphed over William Jennings Bryan and celebrated the inauguration on March 4, 1901.
